Join the testing team!
**UPDATE** NO MORE TESTERS NEEDED**
Thank you so much to everyone who signed up to join my recipe testing team – I am so incredibly grateful and now have just over 100 people on board which is amazing. And because it’s just me coordinating it all, enough for me to manage.
Hello! I am currently working on a new book with Murdoch Books; it will be released next year and I can’t wait to post more updates about launch dates, names etc here very soon.
For now though, I am hoping to enlist the help of you lovely readers – the Local is lovely community, as testers to help me ensure that every recipe is as good as it possibly can be.
If you are keen to join the book testing team, please take a moment to fill out the below form, once submitted I’ll be in touch with a recipe to test – and will do my best to match the right recipe to the right tester!
Please note that I am unable to offer payment for recipe testing but your name will appear in book as a much valued part of our team, and you will have my enduring and sincere gratitude. Also, I will be hosting a few ‘recipe testers’ morning teas the week before the book launches (in Sydney, at our farm in Orange and possibly further afield if there’s enough takers!). These little gatherings will be a chance for our testing team to catch up, for me to say thank you in tea and cake, and to show you the book before it goes on sale. You’ll also have the opportunity to pick up and advance copy should you so desire! Big thanks to Nicole of Eat this Poem for inspiring this call for help. She did something similar for her wonderful book and if you haven’t yet come across her blog please take a look.
- So I can meet my manuscript deadline, all recipes must be tested and feedback returned by 1 May.
- Please make the recipe as written and then suggest any variations in your feedback form.
- While not essential, any photos from your phone would be useful and greatly appreciated
- Testers will need to sign a non-disclosure statement before receiving the recipe.
