Art and food workshop in Tuscany next May.

So, this is exciting… Mum and I are off to co-host an art and food workshop in Tuscany next May! Whoop.

Mum has been teaching residential art classes for over a decade and I’ve been cooking for them for the past couple of years, so when she suggested that we take Art Classes with Annie Herron to Italy I took all of five seconds to say – I’ll come and cook! Having lived and worked in Northern Italy for three years in my late twenties, I’ll always grab any opportunity to get back there and this one is a cracker. Our seven day workshop will include tuition in sketching, plein air painting, photography and blogging, cooking classes and visits to local food markets as well as excursions to nearby art centres such as Arrezzo, Sienna and Florence. We will be staying in a beautiful villa in the chianti district with a maxiumum group of 12-14 people.

Full Cost: $2,150 EUR = $3,423 AUD (Please note price does change due to fluctuations in exchange rate)

Deposit: $1,711 AUD.
Includes: This price includes all accommodation, transport throughout the week, art tuition, cooking classes, most meals all served with excellent local wines, and transfers to and from Poggibonsi station to meet the train to Florence on days of arrival and departure.
Not included: Airfares, train travel from Florence to Poggibonsi on days of arrival and departure, 1 night’s dinner at a local restaurant and 2 lunches when we are on excursions to towns.
