Good morning! Here’s hoping you all have a great Friday and weekend. There’s lots on here in our part of the world; namely the Orange Apple Festival which runs over both days and kicks off with a very apple-y farmers market tomorrow morning. If you are or can be in town; we’ll see you there!
And because I’ve spent very little time in front of my computer this week; here’s a fairly brief Friday List…
The Friday List
Armchair travel – Mexico is always a good idea. And so is Thailand! ‘
The Eurovision finals are on tonight and I can’t wait…and while I may have left my run a bit too late to host a Eurovision Dinner Party like this one, am considering it for next year!
I need to do every single thing on this list of things to simplify the school week.
Roasted cauliflower salad with grapefruit and crispy quinoa – this for lunch tomorrow please!
Gorgeous little video about making cranberry, orange and dark chocolate florentines
And yes this crazy cat lady cake is random – but a bit amazing too!
I’ve never been a big fan of junket; but this recipe with spiced rhubarb might just change that.
Can’t wait to bring out the pasta machine for this fresh spinach version via Smitten Kitchen.
And here’s something a bit exciting…Anneka Manning and I are co-hosting another class here at the Farm Kitchen! It’s going to be so great; we will be focusing on winter pies and tarts (including a favourite venison pie recipe) and then we’ll all have lunch together. More information and booking details can be found on Anneka’s Bake Club site.
