Welcome to our BNB!
The Farm Kitchen, 25 minutes west of Orange, is a recently renovated space on a working farm with a loft bedroom, huge garden and cook’s kitchen.
Super private and peaceful, not another building to be seen, we would love you to come and enjoy the beautiful countryside, have a picnic and/or use our space as a base to explore Orange’s cellar doors, hiking trails, markets, shops, restaurants, mountain bike trails and more.
Our house is 1.5kms away so you’ll have peace and quiet, but we’re not far away if you need us.
We, your hosts are Sophie and Tim Hansen will do everything we can to ensure you have a lovely stay with us. We think this is a very special part of the world and look forward to sharing it with you.
Complimentary freshly baked sourdough, granola, eggs from our chickens, coffee, milk and other treats will be waiting for you on arrival. And we are happy to arrange for picnics, dinner on arrival; sunset drinks up on the hill or farm tours – but please note these experiences will be an extra cost and available on request.
The Farm Kitchen is perfect for couples, but there is a fold-out sofa bed upstairs that can be used on request. We can also organise camping in the large garden if that’s of interest (teenagers happy to camp out?). Both options will incur an extra cost. Just get in touch, and we can sort it out.
Where are we?
Our farm is about 25 minutes west of Orange on the Cargo Road. Specific address and directions will be sent on booking.
- Between town and our place, you’ll drive past some of our favourite wineries: Printhie, Rowlee, Logan, Cargo Road Wines.
- We are 8kms from the Lidster Mountain Bike trails and the appropriately named Trail of Awesomeness.
- We are 30 minutes from historic Canowindra. Highly recommend a visit, a stroll around the beautiful main street and coffee at our favourite cafe and nursery Perennialle Plants.
