As I’ve mentioned once or twice before here, my mother Annie Herron is a talented artist. So it was pretty exciting when she agreed to do a few illustrations and paintings for my book, and as its release date approaches I wanted to share a few of them here.
Here above and below are four favourites. We used these trees to open each seasonal chapter and I love them. Thank you so much Mum, your contribution to the book means LOTS. And….speaking of the book’s release, if anyone is keen to come along, say hi and help celebrate it with me, here are a few dates for the diary:
27th March, Local is Lovely launch at the Orange City Library

10th April, Local is Lovely dinner at the Agrestic Grocer,

19th April, North Sydney Market ‘Author Talk’
I’ll be chatting with food writer/educator/presenter and friend Syd Pemberton about the book, markets and our farm while Tim ‘mans’ the stand! From 9-10am. More information here!
