I’ve been working quite a bit recently with and for a lovely local called Sarah Davies. Sarah is the polymeric founder of Tiny Tribe magazine. A multi-talented multi-tasker; she edites, writes and designs this beautiful online magazine herself, plus is Mum to a tiny tribe of three and best of all for me, she also does a little consultancy too, helping small business and individuals to develop and improving their blogs and websites and explaining and unravelling the world of SEO, metrics etc to those of us, who just want to write about nice things and post pretty pictures.
Sarah is currently helping me redesign this blog and do all kinds of clever things that will help it work and look much better (we hope it will go live within the week).
A month or so ago, Sarah and her three kids drove over from their home town of Forbes so we could work on a story together. I wrote a few recipes, we packed all five of our kids into the back of the car and drove to the edge of our farm which is bordered by state forest. Then we jumped a fence, threw out some blankets and set up a little spread of wholemeal pikelets with roasted apple butter, St Clements cordial and cinnamon popcorn and I snapped away while the kids explored. It was my favourite kind of shoot, lots of fun and the light in that forest was amazing.
All the recipes plus loads more can be found in the Autumn issue of Tiny Tribe.
And here’s miss Sarah with her little man Max bundled up nice and tight, just weeks old at the time.
