A Slice of Orange is one of those rare finds – a totally local, totally lovely little shop selling produce sourced from within a 160km radius and doing so in style. This is the place to go for beautiful hazlenuts, honey, meat, cheese, preserves, coffee, books, hand-crafted ceramics, and loads more – and of course all of it is local to the Orange region.
Owned and operated by sisters Lisa and Jess Lovick, A Slice of Orange really is committed to supporting their local farmers and producers, plus they always stock our venison and have had my book in store since the day it was published. So when Lisa got in touch about their Christmas hampers, I was more than happy to help spread the word.
So – if like me you have barely begun your Christmas shopping, here’s a nice solution you can feel good about on every level.
So, basically here’s the deal – get sorted for Christmas and drop into their actual store in Orange or visit its fantastic online counterpart to put together a hamper that suits your budget and tastes. Everything can be shipped Australia-wide, they can also include carefully selected local wine and larger corporate hamper orders are not a problem either. Too easy. All local. Totally lovely.
