Thank you all for your patience with the comings and goings of this Friday List. As soon as life becomes a bit nuts here, as it has done recently, it’s the first thing to fall by the wayside.
In any case, here we are back again and today with some lovely links to good, new things to read and cook. And in other news, our little family is skipping town (or rather the country) tomorrow and heading to warmer climes for just over a week. Hooray! It was minus five degrees here this morning and has been a tough couple of weeks for us so to say that we are excited for this beachy break is a big fat understatement. See you soon. Sophiex
The Friday List
I made these honey jumbles and chia bars (below) for Minty Magagazine’s latest issue, online now.
Love the look of this deep dish poppy seed pie
I know this recipe smacks of Christmas, but this cinnamon, berry and marzipan wreath is exactly the kind of thing I love to cook, especially in mid-winter. From Nicky and Max, a new-to-me blog that I’m liking lots at the moment.
And just a reminder; we have one spot left for the August 15/16 storytelling through photos, words, art and food workshop and a few for the food styling and photography one on September 9/10 with Stephanie Stamatis and Luisa Brimble. I’ve just added a full schedule for this one to our events page so if keen for more information, please jump over here and have a read.
How amazing and cool is this rooftop garden and restaurant in Copenhagen? Even its name, Clean Simple Local is the best. Wowsers those Danes do things well. Follow them on Instagram for lots of awesome pics of the dinners and garden.
Quite fancy a bowl of this rainbow pad thai from a Pinch of Yum for dinner tonight. Or perhaps this fennel sausage, fontina and greens frittata from Chocolate and Marrow.
