Good morning everyone, we are wrapping up a week of art classes here in Rydal today and I’m heading home after lunch, whoop! So here’s to a lovely quiet weekend with my people and time to cook some of the good things below.
The Friday List
Yes to these ‘busy morning breakfast cookies’ and btw, how lovely is The Clever Carrot?
Oh stop it – this summers lunch under a fig tree in the Sicilian countryside is just perfect…
Sautéed Beans and Peas with Mustard Tarragon Dressing from the gorgeous blog From the land we live on
Seriously, could this picnic be more gorgeous/stylish/French? Oh Mimi…you rock.
Love the look of this chocolate hazlenut slice.
If I was an organised person, I’d bookmark this lavender, rose petal and Himalayan salt bath salt recipe for Christmas presents. If only.
This post has been bookmarked for future reference when I establish my own edible flower garden…
Mini layer cakes from the always clever/gorgeous/funny Erin Made This.
Nanna cakes making everyone feel loved.
10 outdoor kitchens I’d quite like to call my own.
To see Naples is to love Naples. Yessssssss.
On writing and editing cookbooks ..with bona fide expert in the field, Judith Jones (she edited for Julia Childs. Say.No.More). Loved this quote….You don’t want to get to a point where people think everything’s accessible, because it isn’t. Coconuts are damned hard to whack open.
Miss something this week on the blog?
